The journey of a crochet enthusiast
I have always loved doing crafty things. My beloved late mum taught me to knit, and I loved to make scarves, jumpers, and clothes for my dolls. However, I looked in envy as my dearly loved sister crocheted some beautiful items and made intricate designs. I tried several times but could never get the turning right; it also grew into odd shapes and had several holes.
Learning, creating and finding joy
When the Covid epidemic brought lockdown, I sat down and, with the help of various websites, found the patience to learn properly. Since then, I have loved what crochet can do, relieving stress and transporting you into your own little world of creativity! I regularly attend craft fayres at St Fagans Museum, Belle Vue, Penarth, and Penarth Pier, along with a few random ones along the way.
